C is for Candy alphabet craft
momstown Hamilton made a great C is for Candy craft in their Alphabet Play program - they looked good enough to eat!

What you need:
- Construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Candy (leftover treats that you don't want them to eat anyways!)
Use popsicle sticks to apply glue onto the cut-out letter c and glue on as much candy as you can fit. This is a great time to practice patterning and sorting skills, too!

Cut out a lower case 'm' (momstown is always lower-case!), glue onto construction paper. Have your child cut out logos and dots, and apply wherever they like!
Cut out a 'w' from construction paper and glue onto another piece. Then add 'worms' using Bendaroos, yarn, or pipe cleaner!
Cut out a letter o and glue onto construction paper. The 'o' becomes the bowl.

Cut out two strips to form the lower case 't'. Good cutting practice in straight lines for little hands!
Then get feather-ing! Apply glue and have your child add the feathers to the turkey.
Feathers are a fun craft tool and provide some sensory experience as well!
Cut out a lower case 'v' from construction paper. Have your child help - v's have lots of straight lines and are easier to cut than most letters.
Cut out flowers from gift wrap (or you could draw them if you don't have any, or look through magazines for some) and glue on inside the 'vase'.
