From a young age, we start to expose our children to the letters of the alphabet. Sometimes it's to start to recognize their names or maybe it's to label the world around them. We teach the alphabet songs to our kids, but have you ever tried learning the signs for all the letters in the alphabet? Using their hands, is a great way to reinforce the letter and even help them to communicate from a young age, long before their first real words.
momstown hosts Alphabet Play events each month, across Canada, to focus on a different letter of the alphabet. This great song can help you teach your child the signs for the letters as well as what words associated with each letter. There's even a cool ABC memory game online! What a fun way to learn your A, B, Cs!
