Tweet Tweet Tweet! It is Spring and the birds have finally arrived. The momstown Hamilton pre-schoolers were celebrating with a B for bird Alphabet Play craft. We even got to stretch our wings and pretend to be real birds chirping.
practice lined paper
yellow or orange foam for beak
1. Cut out the letter B from the paper following along the lines and practicing straight and curved line cutting.
2. Pick out some beautifully coloured feathers for the birds.
3. Glue down your B and attach the feathers, eyes and beak.
4. Get the kids to practice their "Bs" (make dots for little kids) and writing with the lined paper glued along the bottom. At any age, this can be a great start to early literacy and writing skills!
