It's true that going back to school can be a real drag for older kids. One way to be sure that September starts out right, is by personalizing your school supplies! Grab some duct tape and get crafting!
spiral notebook, binders, folders, etc.
duct tape in variety of fun colours (sold at Walmart, dollar stores and Michael's)
sharp scissors or exacto knife
1. Pick your first roll of duct tape and stretch across the binder, folder or notebook. You can do straight stripes or have fun with zig zags!
2. Get creative! Alternate colours, do solids with one bold stripe, the possibilities are endless! Older kids will have some great ideas, younger children might need some help! Remember- duct tape is super sticky!
3. Be careful with scissors. Duct tape can be stubborn to cut. Younger children might need help. Cut the ends of your stripes with exacto knifes for a clean line, or fold it under for rolled edges.
4. Complete your back-to-school masterpiece with your name, your favourite band or a cool phrase!
