One of the best things about momstown's Alphabet Play program is seeing how unique and different our alphabet crafts turn out! momstown Newmarket-Aurora created a whole flock of Owls with this O is for Owl craft.

What you need:

  • Construction paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Markers, crayons or pencil crayons
  • Googly eyes

 

You can have pre-cut letter O's ready to go, or have children draw their own. Then, cut out triangles from construction paper for the owl's head, and glue on top. Add googly eyes and cut out feet to glue on. Children can decorate their owl any way they like - with crayons, marker, stickers, or even feathers!

 

It's amazing how we can turn letters into animals at momstown. Check out a few more of our alphabet crafts.
