momstown loves crafts that kids of all ages can do - and this butterfly stained glass is a great example!

What you need:
- Construction paper
- Tissue paper scraps
- Glue (glue stick is best instead of white glue)
- Scissors
Fold construction paper into half or quarters, and make small cuts (snowflake-style!). When you unfold you'll have the perfect symmetry of a butterfly.
Glue tissue paper scraps along the holes on the reverse side. Aim for symmetry here too if you really want it to be true to a butterfly's design.
Hang in a window and let the sun shine in! Make a perfect spring decoration and a great way to teach kids about symmetry. Or, look at a book to introduce the life cycle of a butterfly - they will be entralled!
