At momstown we like to encourage moms to explore creatively with their little ones and to try things early. Babies CAN paint and learn a ton from sensory elements.
At a baby book club event in momstown Milton where we read The Carrot Seed we focused on the letter C and Carrots and did some painting crafts with that theme.

Supplies:
- paint
- CARROTS (not brushes!)
- orange tissue paper cut in easy to handle squares
- Green easter grass for the “tops” or use green paint for markers
- Construction or poster paper or cardboard (back of cereal box is perfect!)
- Smock? J
Draw the letter C to practise your child’s literacy skills and let them paint and decorate. Or make a free art carrot. There is no right or wrong way to explore with art.
