You and your child can create a Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star mobile with this fun craft activity from momstown.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are!
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky!
Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

You'll need: scissors, glue, ribbon, star stencils (cookie cutters work well!), tin foil, a coat hanger, tissue paper, and stiff paper like cardstock or heavy construction paper.

Use the cookie cutters to trace stars on the construction paper. Your child can try doing the tracing as well - helps to practice pencil grip.

Getting some great cutting practice with these stars! Have your child cut them out, or help them if they are younger.

Cut tissue paper and tin foil into small squares, then 'scrunch' them up and glue them on to add three dimensions to the stars! Fun sensory activity, especially with the tin foil.

Attach ribbon to each star and hang from the coat hanger. We added an extra touch and wound pipe cleaners around the hanger to give it some extra colour. Now it's ready to decorate your child's room, or any other room in the house that needs a little twinkle!
